Jolie Opens Up About Reclusive Lifestyle Post-Pitt Divorce

Angelina Jolie has unveiled her reclusive lifestyle, attributing it to the aftermath of her divorce from Brad Pitt in 2016. In a candid interview with WSJ. Magazine, the actress shared insights into her social life, revealing that her children and refugee women form her closest circle.

"They are the closest people to me and my life, and they’re my close friends," Jolie said of her six children – Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 18, Shiloh, 17, and 15-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

"We had to heal. There are things we needed to heal from," she reflected, alluding to the challenges faced by her family in the wake of the divorce.

Jolie revealed that her social circle is limited, admitting: "I don’t really have… a social life." However, she finds solace and support in her close-knit group of female friends, many of whom have experienced war and conflict.

"I realised my closest friends are refugees," she elaborated. "Maybe four out of six of the women that I am close to are from war and conflict," she noted.

Jolie's reclusive lifestyle is a stark contrast to her previous life as a Hollywood A-lister. She explained that the divorce from Pitt significantly impacted her ability to travel and engage in social activities.

"It’s part of what happened after my divorce," Jolie explained. "I lost the ability to live and travel as freely. I will move when I can," she expressed.
