The next general election of Pakistan will be held on 8 February 2024.
The General All Party Election 2024 is scheduled to be held in Pakistan on February 8, 2024. The election will be a pivotal moment in the country's history, as it will determine the future direction of Pakistan. Background

The National Assembly of Pakistan was prematurely dissolved on August 10, 2023, by President Arif Alvi on the advice of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. This triggered a constitutional crisis, as the opposition parties argued that the dissolution was illegal. The Supreme Court of Pakistan eventually ruled that the dissolution was legal, but it also ordered the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to hold the general election within 90 days.
