Qasim Suri Party (History)

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Mr. Qasim Khan Suri has been associated with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) since 1996 as an active member. However, he became an office bearer in 2007. Mr. Qasim Khan Suri has the privilege of being the only member to have been elected as the President of PTI Balochistan for two consecutive terms; first in 2009 and second when intra-party elections were held by PTI in 2013 - thus becoming the longest serving President at provincial level.
In past, he also held the office of the Senior Vice President and Secretary General and Deputy Organizer of PTI Balochistan. Mr. Qasim Khan Suri has also remained the member of core committee, central executive council and constitution committee of PTI. He has the privilege of organizing the largest political gathering in the political history of Balochistan on 20th April 2012 from the platform of PTI.
Mr. Qasim Khan Suri was given a party ticket for the National Assembly seat from Balochistan in the 2013 elections but he remained a runner-up. He contested for the same seat again in the General Elections 2018 and secured over 25,000 votes defeating Mehmood Khan Achakzai with 11,487 votes.
